Craig and Brian live with their mum and dad and have a half brother from their dad's previous relationship. The MacDonald Brothers have been seriously singing together for 3 years at weddings, clubs and occasionally doing backing vocals. Craig and Brian have been singing and playing the accordion and the fiddle together ever since they were children. The duo first realised that singing was their dream after performing at a school talent contest in a band called 'Cobra' which was a Queen tribute band. One of their biggest performances as The MacDonald Brothers was in front of Hugh Grant at the Ceilidh Dance. |

Each year we have a singing show at our school called Park Idol and we are the judges! We dress up as the judges from the X factor and would love you two to come and perform at our show! we would love this as it is our last year at primary school and we want to leave in style with everyone remembering us for Park Idol! The McDonalds played tonight in Strathpeffer. I bought to tickets for my elderly Aunt explaining that she was 72 and a huge fan etc but when she arrived at the venue there were no seats and so she and her friend left without even seeing the boys. The tickets did not say standing room only so feeling really disappointed she did not get to see them as she was a big fan. :0(
