Craig and Brian live with their mum and dad and have a half brother from their dad's previous relationship. The MacDonald Brothers have been seriously singing together for 3 years at weddings, clubs and occasionally doing backing vocals. Craig and Brian have been singing and playing the accordion and the fiddle together ever since they were children. The duo first realised that singing was their dream after performing at a school talent contest in a band called 'Cobra' which was a Queen tribute band. One of their biggest performances as The MacDonald Brothers was in front of Hugh Grant at the Ceilidh Dance. |

I love the maccyDs, i've only managed to see them at the x-factor tour. I know they've been doing gigs here and there and have been kept busy but i do look forward to when they do their own tour! Does anyone know if this is in the pipeline? Oh, and roll on the next album!

I know you will be in Shetland this summer. I have a special request. Would it be possible for you to come to Orkney and visit a Place called Highland park Residential home? This house has unique residents and wonderful patient staff who care for them each member of the staff give there all to care for the residents and make HIGHLAND PARK their home. It would be such a treat for them if you could make the time to visit.

Each year we have a singing show at our school called Park Idol and we are the judges! We dress up as the judges from the X factor and would love you two to come and perform at our show! we would love this as it is our last year at primary school and we want to leave in style with everyone remembering us for Park Idol! i thought yous were great when you were on the x factor and i think you are both good guitar players. When you sang your song on the x factor i thought you were better than the real people who sing it. It was really good when you were on the x factor otherwise if you were not on it i dont know what all your fans would do without yous.
